The St.Louis Blues play out of the Enterprise Center. In 1994 the arena opened and was first named the Kiel Center, then from 2000 - 2006 Savvis owned naming right, followed by the Scottrade Center, finally in 2018 naming rights were adopted by Enterprise. How did the St.Louis Blues get their name?
In 1967, then owner Sid Saloman Jr. chose the name the “Blues” after a song by W.C Handy by the name “St.Louis Blues.” The song was one of the first blues songs to flourish as a pop song and integral part of jazz music. The Blue’s infamous music-note blue, red and yellow jerseys have been a staple in the NHL ever since.
